The Mechanical Extension

Mechanical is the Coherent Dictionary in a controlled language: the ASD-STE100 Issue 9 discipline of the aerospace industry, plus the vocabulary declared on this page. One word has one meaning. A machine can check the rules.

The aerospace dictionary has words for machines. A moral constitution also requires words for time, speech, truth, life, and justice. This page declares those words: 535 added words in 10 groups, and 7 approved words with a changed meaning. The 192 terms of the dictionary are also declared technical nouns. The ASD word list itself is not reproduced here.

Overridden words 7

These words are in the aerospace dictionary, but Ultimate Law gives them a different single meaning. In Mechanical text, only the Ultimate Law sense applies.
