Ownership

Ownership is the relation between an agent and a scarce thing, in which the agent holds the exclusive right of control. Ownership starts with the body, as Self-Ownership shows. Only two events give ownership of other things. One is first use of a thing that no agent owned. The other is voluntary transfer from the owner before. To make a thing does not make ownership. If you change the form of a thing that you own, it stays yours. If you change the form of a thing that a different agent owns, it stays theirs, and your labor does not change that. Ownership gives exclusive control. It obligates all other agents to keep out, unless the owner gives consent.
